Admissions
Mahalo for your interest in MoʻO School. We are now accepting applications for School Year 2026-2027.
Priority will be given to applicants turning 3 who wish to complete the three-year Primary Program.
Applicants should be turning 3 years old between March 2026 and March 2027.
All other applicants should be coming from Montessori environments and/or have a deep family commitment to aloha ʻāina.
At our school, we consider keiki as part of their entire ʻohana. When we welcome a child, we are welcoming the family, and we are relying on an active and long partnership.
When parents choose to enroll their child in MoʻO School, they are choosing a special community. This community thrives because of generally agreed-upon ways of treating each other. We call this the Grace and Courtesy Code. We expect all adults to support the Montessori lessons of grace and courtesy by their own example, and commit to treating ʻāina and all people with grace, courtesy, and respect.
These practices are a direct line to supporting self-discipline in the children; they are time-tested in Montessori classrooms throughout the world and align with nā loina (the customs, or values) of our kūpuna (ancestors, elders).
