Sick Students, Family Members & Staff Policy

  • Daily Temperature Screening: All staff and students will be screened for fever each morning prior to entering school. Any person with an elevated temperature will be sent home prior to being admitted into the school.

  • Children & Families

    • If any child or any member of a child’s household is ill and/or experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms, the child may not attend school.  In addition, if any child or member of a child’s household tests positive for COVID-19, the School must be notified immediately. In this event, Mo’O School will notify all parents that a confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported in the school community. 

  • Staff

    • If any staff person or any member of a staff person’s household is ill and/or experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms, the staff member may not attend school. In addition, if any staff or member of said staff person’s household tests positive for COVID-19, the School must be notified immediately. In this event, Mo’O School will notify all parents that a confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported in the school community. 

 

To help assess wellness, all members of the Mo’O School community (staff, and families included) agree to self-check with regards to the following COVID-19 symptoms. According to the CDC, these symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus:

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Chills

  • Repeated shaking with chills

  • Muscle pain

  • Headache

  • Sore throat

  • New loss of taste or smell
